The Worship and Spiritual Life Committee is a standing committee of the Parish Pastoral Council dedicated to the promotion of active participation in worship and programs in spiritual development.
The overall purpose of the Worship and Spiritual Life Committee is to assist our pastor in planning and providing for the spiritual development of the members of Corpus Christi through liturgical celebrations such as, baptism, reconciliation, care for the homebound and sick, confirmation, marriage and funerals, significant prayer experiences and spiritual growth programs.
The Worship and Spiritual Life committee is active and helpful in recruiting and training liturgical ministers such as lectors, greeters, ushers, extraordinary ministers of Holy Communion, homebound, servers, environment, preparing parish liturgies and prayers, setting parish policy along with educating the parish in issues of liturgy.
The Worship and Spiritual Life Committee assists the pastor and the pastoral staff in forming and maintaining a vision of liturgy which is truly the source and summit of the life of Corpus Christi Parish.
