Our parish Bereavement Committee has volunteers that provide outreach to families who have lost a loved one, by sending communications throughout the first year of your loss, as well as praying for you and your loved one.
Organized by St. Ann's Society, a delicious meal is prepared for the family and guests after the funeral service, which is served in the Parish Social Hall. The family pays a nominal sum per plate, kept to a minimum through the generosity of the women volunteers.
This service, happily performed by all involved, helps ease the burdens of the grieving family, and tends to at least two of the corporal works of mercy: to comfort the sorrowing, and to bury the dead.
Please contact the Parish Office to make funeral arrangements.
