Fr. Ryan has made the decision to close the parish office starting Tuesday, 3/24 to all foot traffic. The office will still receive and answer phone calls and emails. This policy will stay in effect until further notice.
Effective today, Bishop Ricken announced that all Masses in the diocese are cancelled now until mid-April. Also, all events/gatherings within the church will also be cancelled as well as any meetings/functions in the parish center. Therefore, there will be no stations of the cross or Light is On.
Corpus Christi Church will be open daily 6am-9pm for anyone who wishes to come in and pray.
Bishop will celebrate a 30 minute Mass each Sunday during the suspension of public attendance and it will be prodcast over the local CBS affiliate, WFRV Local 5 at 10:30am. Sunday Mass is also available diocesan-wide via broadcast television on ABC affiliate WBAY at 5:30am Sunday mornings and on CW14 at 8am. Mass is also available on Relevant Radio, 1050 AM at 9am. Sunday bulletins will be vailable on-line. A few printed copies will be available in the church entrances.
Parish office will be open, however, communication through phone calls and emails is preferred. Email office@ccparish.net. Drop boxes are available at both entrances of the parish office.
Bishop Ricken announced on March 13, 2020 that Catholics have been granted a dispensation from the obligation to attend Mass due to concerns about the spread of the COVID-19 virus. This dispensation will cover the next three weekends. Additional directives to Priests and Pastoral Leaders include draining Holy water fonts.
