"Whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him." - Colossians 3:17
It is a great joy and privilege as a musician to use your gifts to serve God through the Mass. For this is what truly differentiates our pursuits from other musical engagements: our role is not to perform, but to lead the congregation in praying the word of God in song. The purpose of music within the liturgy is to reinforce the Scriptures and to deepen emotional and spiritual connection to God and the Mass. It is my role as a minister of music to closely study the readings for each service and then select pieces that best serve this intention.
There is a place for anyone who wishes to join us as we come together to glorify God with our instruments and our voices. If you are interested in singing in our choir, volunteering as a cantor, or accompanying weekly services, I would love to speak with you about joining our ministry.
