Ladies--or men--who like to knit or crochet and who also like to pray, find a perfect place to do both as members of the Prayer Shawl Ministry.  As members stitch the shawls in their own homes, they pray for their eventual recipients; and God, who knows all things, immediately gives those prayers to the one who needs them.

Although meetings have been suspended due to COVID, members continue to pick up yarn from the closet at the parish center, work on their projects at home, and return them to the closet.  When there are at least a dozen completed shawls, they are given out to anyone who wants one after the shawl blessing at Mass, and are available in the parish office.
